CARIBOU, Maine — The local Pitch, Hit and Run baseball skills competition will be held Sunday, May 20, at the Caribou Little League complex.
The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is organizing the event. There is no charge to participate, but pre-registration is required.
Separate girls and boys age divisions are 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14. Competitors will pitch for accuracy, hit for distance and accuracy, and be timed running the bases.
Check-in is 12:30 p.m. and the competition begins at 1 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, it will be held at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center.
