PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Aroostook Huskies Football Club is holding its second annual Family, Friends and Tough Guys fundraiser on Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Riverside Park.
Part of the festivities is an arm wrestling competition for ages 16 and older. The entry fee is $25 per category. Registration and weigh-in begins at 9 a.m. and pulling will begin no later than 11 a.m.
A grill cook-off also will take place, with categories for burgers, chicken and pulled pork. The entry fee is $25 per category or $50 for all three. Participants provide meat, cookery and settings. Raffle tickets are currently being sold for a New England Patriots Draw, which will take place at Family, Friends and Tough Guys. Tickets are $20 each and proceeds will help raise funds for the Huskies’ new football field. The winner receives an authentic New England Patriots helmet and a jersey autographed by All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski.
