CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Public Library is gearing up for what was once a yearly tradition: a perennial sale fundraiser.
The library will sponsor its 2018 perennial sale on Saturday, June 2, at 10 a.m. until all plants are sold. The Caribou Room will feature a variety of perennials, annuals, and seedlings to choose from.
Anyone interested in donating perennials, annuals and/or seedlings for the fundraiser should contact the library at 493-4214. Donors may bring plants in on Thursday, May 31, and Friday, June 1, during library hours.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will help the library support literacy and arts programs, author programs, archives and special collections, and special projects for community development.
