The guest speaker was Samantha Drost, social studies teacher at Central Aroostook High School.  Samantha is the National Teacher Ambassador for Maine. DonorsChoose.org helps teachers get the materials they need to enrich their students’ experience at school.

DonorsChoose.org is a nonprofit website that engages the public in public schools.  Teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests that are fulfilled by generous citizen donors as well as corporations and foundations that want to support the nation’s students.
