NEW SWEDEN, Maine – Linwood Peterson, 71, passed away on May 20th, 2018, in Bangor.
Linwood was born in Caribou on July 5, 1946, the son of the late Henry and Evelyn (Quist) Peterson. He was a 1964 graduate of Caribou High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1965-1967 and was a member of Stockholm American Legion Post 136.
He was predeceased by his parents, his twin brother, Elwood, his brother, Robert, and his sister, Vivian Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of New Sweden, daughter, Tricia Peterson, of Bangor; his brother, Glenn and his wife, Valerie, of Woodland, his sister, Elsie Mueller and her husband, Ted, of Hopkinton, Mass; his sister-in-law, Jeannette Peterson, of Stockholm; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Per Linwood’s request, there will be no services. Interment will be at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou.
