PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Michael A. Norbeck, 58, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, unexpectedly at his home in Presque Isle. He was born in Brunswick, on January 23, 1960, the son of Fred Norbeck and Delores (Conant) Kemper.
Michael loved to cook, whether that was at home for family, or at work, which he did both locally and for many different restaurants across the United States. He also enjoyed keeping in touch with the many friends he met from Texas, Washington, and around the world. Additionally, he will be remembered for his love of cats and stray animals.
Michael is survived by his mother, Delores Kemper; and his sisters, Jamie Kemper and Jade Norbeck. He is also survived by one daughter, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Fred Norbeck; stepfather; David Kemper; and his sister, Debra Norbeck.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 3 p.m. at the Duncan Graves Funeral Home reception room, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle.
