CARIBOU, Maine – Jeannine Belanger, 84, wife of the Ernest Belanger, died on May 25, 2018, at Van Buren. She was born in St. Quentin, NB, Canada, on June 18, 1933, the daughter of the late Charles and Marie Anne (Dube) Plourde.
Mrs. Belanger was a graduate of Caribou High School and was a lifelong member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the Daughters of Isabella. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family.
She is survived by one son, Michael Belanger, of Augusta; her three beloved grandchildren, Lelia, Dianne, and Benjamin; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Belanger was predeceased by her husband, Ernest, in 2005.
Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018, until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
