The Oakfield Senior Citizens gathered at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Club for their May 16 meeting.
Following the delicious potluck luncheon, Mr. Locke called the business meeting to order with The Lord’s Prayer and The Flag Salute.
Mildred Gagnon was the 50/50 winner.
All reports were read and accepted. May birthdays were recognized.
Bangor Savings Bank is collecting peanut butter and jelly for summer snacks, so bring your donations to our next meeting.
Delores read a thank-you card from Judy Anderson at RSVP for our donation to the volunteer banquet in Caribou.
Lisa Moulton brought us up to date with the fuel assistance program being extended to July; call ACAP in Presque Isle for more information. The Houlton Putnam House Senior Center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Lisa is looking for volunteers to do light housekeeping for seniors.
Our next meeting will be on June 6.
