ISLAND FALLS, Maine — Several nice sunny days in a row has given the grass a much needed boost in color and growth. The two greens that needed overseeding, numbers 8 and 10 are showing new grass poking through the aeration holes and will fill in quickly.
A top dressing of the greens is being planned in the near future to help get the speed up and smooth out those ball marks and imperfections. Thanks to all who have complimented on the nice condition of the course. The grounds crew appreciates that their hard work is being noticed.
