PERHAM, Maine — Perham will host this year’s annual town-wide yard sale on Aug. 11, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Organizers Debra Viola and Patty Doody said that families and organizations throughout the town are already signing up for the event.
“People were really pleased with how well they did and with the turnout,” Viola said of last year’s event.
This year, residents in neighboring towns, such as Woodland, Wade, Washburn and other nearby communities are encouraged to join the residents in Perham, but must also sign up by contacting Doody or Viola as soon as possible.
“We have limited spaces available at the Town Hall on High Meadow Road,” Viola said, “and they are filling up fast.”
Additionally, improved advertising and signage for directions to locations where residents are participating will make it easier for shoppers.
