HARTLAND, New Brunswick — The first tournament of the summer for the Upper St. John Valley Senior Ladies Golf Association was held at Covered Bridge Golf Club Wednesday, June 20.
In Division A, first gross went to Mary Jane Sullivan of the home course with a score of 89, while April James of Aroostook Valley Country Club was first net with a 71.
For Division B, Mary Hansen, also of Covered Bridge, notched first gross with a 95. Peggy Larrabee of Mars Hill Country Club was first net with a 75.
Taking first gross for Division C was Darlene Higgins of Presque Isle Country Club. Her winning score was 104. Jane Umphrey of Caribou Country Club grabbed first net honors with a 72.
In Division D, Portage Hills Country Club’s Sherri Ward was first gross with a 109, while Betty Thompson of Caribou Country Club scored a 73 for first net.
The next tournament is set for July 11 at Portage Hills Country Club.
