WESTBROOK, Maine – Donna Jean Anderson, 66, of Westbrook, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at the Cedars in Portland. She was born on December 7, 1951, in Caribou, a daughter of the late Warren E. & Marjory C. (Kelley) Anderson.
She grew up in Caribou, attending local area schools and graduated from Caribou High School. She then went on to attend Northern Maine Community College.
Donna was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked throughout Maine and Kirkland, Washington. She retired from Springbrook Nursing Home in Westbrook.
She is survived by children, Brian Jacobs Jr. and his wife, Kristean of Westbrook and Daniel Jacobs of Gastonia, NC. She also leaves her grandchildren, Christopher Jacobs of St. Agatha and Zachary Jacobs of Westbrook; as well as her brother, Richard Anderson of Clinton, CT; her sister, Hallie Milton of North Haverhill, NH; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Ronald W. and Rodney Anderson.
A graveside service will be held at New Sweden Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her parents in New Sweden, ME. The date and time will be announced late summer or early fall.
