WASILLA, AK – Janet Lucia (Hede) Sandstrom, 85, went home to Jesus on Saturday evening, Oct. 14, 2017 in Wasilla, AK surrounded by love and family. She was born in Stockholm, Maine, on Feb. 23, 1932, the daughter of O. Elliot and Hilma (Nelson) Hede. She was the sixth of 12 children. She graduated from Caribou High School in 1949. She married Dale Sandstrom in 1951.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Church, Stockholm, Maine. Donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
