Halfway Home Pet Rescue celebrates feral friendships this week, reminding readers that several formerly feral cats are now ready for adoption into a new permanent home. Here, Nickie and Betty pose for a photo. Eight of these cats are now domesticated yet still bonded to former feral family members. HHPR hopes they can be adopted two to a family to make transition easier for them. Adoption fees will be discounted for these cats, who have had all their medical completed. HHPR does not recommend them to families with young children, but they will be great mousers and able to live inside/outside in a low-traffic neighborhood. FMI: Call 999-1075. (Courtesy of HHPR)
