The United Methodist Women of Grant Memorial United Methodist Church in Presque Isle recently invited various area churches to a tea, with more than 60 women attending. The theme was “Laughter is good Medicine,” and the speaker was Betty Walker from Caribou. Decorations included clowns and old-fashioned replica toys. Following the program, a salad-and-rolls luncheon was served and a love offering taken, to be donated to the Aroostook House of Comfort.
