DELORES J. LOCKE, OAKFIELD – Delores J. Locke, 81, died on June 25, 2018, in Houlton. She was born on October 6, 1936, in Houlton, the daughter of George and Muriel (Applebee) Seeley.
Delores grew up in Houlton on the Seeley Farm. She married Robert Locke on April 30, 1955. She was active in her church, the Purple Hat Club, the Senior Citizens, the Smoki Haulers Snowmobile Club, and R.S.V.P. Delores participated in the Christmas Club and volunteered at school.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; their 10 children, Roberta Zelleke, Kenneth (Kim) Locke, Rebecca (Anthony) Reynolds, Michael (Andrea) Locke, Kevin (Cheryl) Locke, Roxanne (Jim) Lyons, Ruthanne (Bill) O’Rourke, Michelle Locke, Maryanne Locke, and Carrieanne (Andy) Love; 13 grandchildren, Corey, Shawna, Courtney, Jeremy, Joshua, Nicki, Erica, Casee, Tilaye, Taylor, Liam, Laurentz, and Oscar; 14 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Jane Tanner, and Gail Seeley; as well as her life-long friends, Connie and Kerry Bartlett; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her son, Mark, and her brother, John.
Friends called from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, June 29th, 2018, at the Oakfield Baptist Church where funeral services were held at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Fox officiating.
