PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Central Aroostook Association recently welcomed Cindy Tardif as the newest member of the children’s targeted case management team.
Tardif has nearly 18 years of experience working with children and young adults up to age 21 in Aroostook County. Her expertise encompasses the navigation of services with MaineCare, the Department of Health and Human Services, service providers and families.
Tardif primarily supports youth diagnosed with mental health and developmental disabilities, as well as autism. She can assist with care coordination, providing support and advocacy, and linkage to resources to enhance clients’ well-being.
She said she is passionate about working with clients and their families to identify needs, coordinate referrals and track success.
“It’s extraordinary to see families empowered through the services I coordinate,” she said. “Seeing success for their child and strengthening the child’s natural support system is tremendously rewarding.”
CAA Executive Director Steve Richard welcomed Tardif to the Central Aroostook Association family.
“Cindy’s experience in the children’s field is a great asset to our association,” Richard said. “She’s a wonderful addition to our children’s case management department and we’re, indeed, fortunate to add her to our team.”
Tardif resides in Fort Kent with her husband, Leonard. They have four adult children, Toby, Robbie, Audrey and Stephanie.
Tardif is currently accepting new referrals. For additional information or questions, contact her via email at ctardif@centralaroostookassociation.com or by phone 554-4551.
