MARION B. HENDERSON, HOULTON – Marion B. Henderson, 88, left this world on July 18, 2018, to be with her Lord and Savior while at a Houlton long term care facility. She was born August 17, 1929, in Littleton, the daughter of Newell and Fern (Ellis) Drake.
Marion often spoke of how beautiful she knew heaven would be and now that she has made the journey, her family can find comfort knowing she now knows how beautiful it is. Of all Marion’s life’s accomplishments, she was most proud of her children, Marion leaves behind a son Garth and his wife Cindy Henderson of Houlton, a son Karl Henderson of Houlton, a daughter Karla and her husband David Hersey of Oakfield, a daughter Jane and her husband Randy Tapley of Houlton and a son Otis and his wife Stacy Henderson of Houlton. Marion will be missed by her grandchildren Jenny and Tara, Randi and Valerie, Megan, Haley and Elizabeth and step grandchildren Mike, Chad, Darcy and Tara and all their spouses. Marion had several great-grandchildren who always made her smile. She also leaves behind a brother Paul Drake and his wife Joan and a special friend Richard Tarr of Houlton. Marion was predeceased by her husband Garth Henderson, parents Newell and Fern Drake, a sister Leona, a sister Lois, a sister Virginia and a brother Donald. Marion’s family would like to thank the staff at Madigan Estates Healthcare for the loving care she received while she was resident and also Dr. Hassan Abouleish for his compassion.
