EASTON, Maine – It is with great sadness that the family of Michelle ‘Shelly’ (Condon) McLean announces her passing on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the age of 47. Shelly was born on October 23, 1970 to parents Roger and Jackie (Ouellette) Condon of Easton. Shelly spent most of her adult life living and working in Easton before moving to Winterport, Maine and then moving back to Easton to live with her parents who lovingly cared for her the last two years of her life.
Shelly was known around Easton as being an awesome hair stylist and someone who was known to put strangers at ease with her contagious smile, entertaining sense of humor and a sweet and simple demeanor that won the hearts of anyone she met and her smile will never be forgotten.
Shelly’s greatest joy in life was raising her two sons. Her oldest son, Morgan, lives in Grand Prairie, TX with his wife Marina and their four children; Nyla, Rhyland, Ryver, and Nadya. Her youngest son, Austin, lives in Winterport, Maine with his girlfriend, Bailey Sutherland. She is also survived by her children’s father, Steven McLean.
Growing up in a family of five children, Shelly is survived by her three sisters and their spouses: Tina (Wade) Henderson of Norman, OK; Terri (James) Brock of Sevierville, TN; Becky (Ed) Millett of Mapleton, ME. Shelly is also survived by her brother Roger Jr. and his girlfriend Marisa of Easton, ME. Also forever remembered by her longtime companion, Martin Carter and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.
“Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.” The family would like to thank the hospice home for the loving care for Shelly during her final days.
There will be no calling hours and a service will be held at a later date for family.
