The Houlton Recreation Department will host the annual Peanut Carnival on Thursday, Aug. 2, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. In case of rain, activities will be held inside. At 8 p.m., young participants will gather in the Rec gym to cast their votes for the Peanut King and Queen.
