Kenneth (Kenny) Issac Allen

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Kenneth (Kenny) Issac Allen, 81, went to meet his Lord and Savior on July 28, 2018. Kenneth was born to Sadie (Coty) and Rellon Allen on February 24, 1937.
He married the love of his life and mother of his five children, Carol M. (Boutot) Allen on October 25, 1958. Ken was known throughout the County for the 58 years; he provided service in septic tank pumping. Kenny started his work and career in construction and ice cutting for Joe Gagnon on the Aroostook River. He was proud of the time on the river and told many a story of those days to his children and grandchildren.
Kenny was also employed by the City of Presque Isle Water District and Highway Departments. He was also employed at Swamp Fox, currently the PI Convention Center. He was also a member of the search and rescue. He was a devoted husband, father, pappy, and great-grandpappy.
He is survived by his siblings, Dorothy and Rellon Allen, and John Powers. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Carol; children, Karen and her husband, Peter Hanson, Jeffery, George and his wife, Nancy, Lisa, Christopher and his wife, Kim. He was a proud “Pappy” to Caston Lovely and his wife, Erica, Landon and Griffen Lovely, Tyler and Erika Hanson, Joshua Allen and Mindy, Joseph and his wife, Lauren, Christen Allen and Carl, and Mason Allen, his great-grandchildren, Alana and Evelyn Lovely, Danika, Blake and Roman Allen, Maverick, as well as several nieces and nephews; and his special buddy, Scooter.
In addition to his parents, Kenny was predeceased by siblings Patricia, Loretta, Annabelle, George, Robert, and Larry.
Friends and family may call from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, at Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Presque Isle, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. A reception will immediately follow services at the K of C Hall.
