PATTEN, Maine — All things Disney were on display Saturday for Patten’s Pioneer Days parade.
Featuring elaborately decorated floats from nearly every popular Walt Disney movie, Saturday’s parade wove its way from Station Street, onto Houlton Street and continuing onto Route 11 through downtown Patten.
The town enjoyed eight full days of events such as a horseshoe tournament, frog jumping contest, coed softball tourneys, a glow-in-the dark dance, children’s carnival and the always popular bean-hole supper at the Patten Lumbermen’s Museum.
