HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Lodge of Elks BPOE No. 835 recently donated $1,000 to the Bridge to Hope foundation.
“This donation continues Houlton Lodge #835’s support to our local community,” said Mike Hannigan, exalted ruler for the Houlton Elks. “The donation was provided as a grant from the
Elks National Foundation, and will be used by Bridge to Hope to continue its mission.”
For almost 13 years, Bridge to Hope has helped hundreds of families facing the diagnosis of cancer. Working directly in the community Bridge to Hope has donated gas cards, helped with travel expenses, and provided moral support to cancer patients and their families.
