ANTHONY “TONY” JOSEPH, HOULTON – Anthony “Tony” Joseph 66 died August 20, 2018 at Eastern Maine Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born in Houlton April 24,1952 the son of Frank Joseph and Mary Louise (Saulis) Joseph.
Anthony attended Houlton Schools and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. His passion was his love of music. In the spring he could always be found down by the river picking fiddleheads. He loved fishing and mountain climbing. He loved being with family as much as he could be. Anthony will also never be forgotten for making everyone feel special. His humor made everyone laugh, it was his greatest attribute.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by five sisters, and three brothers: Florence Shannon, Mary Addington, Sally Joseph, Elizabeth Jewell, Teresa Joseph. Donald Joseph, Peter Joseph, Carl Joseph.
Anthony is survived by two brothers: John Joseph of Houlton, Tom Joseph and his wife Elaine of Belfast, one sister Grace McKee of Falmouth. He is also leaves behind two daughters: Florence Joseph of Presque Isle, Mary Samantha White Feather, of Caribou, four grandsons: Zander, Silas, Layne, and Spencer, one granddaughter Alex Amiques, as well as several nieces and nephews. Anthony will also be fondly remembered by a special companion Gail Watson, and dearest friend Linda Bell.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8 PM Sunday August 26, 2018 at Dunn Funeral Home. A graveside service with military honors will be conducted 11 AM Monday at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Smyrna St. with Deacon Al Burleigh officiating.
