Betty M. Sewell

BETTY M. SEWELL, NEW LIMERICK – Betty M. Sewell, 83, died on August 21, 2018, at home with her family by her side. She was born on September 27, 1934, in Houlton, the daughter of Alton Sr. and Hazel (Fortier) Lindsay.
Mom loved and collected frogs and enjoyed watching western movies but she especially liked spending time with her family.
Betty is survived by six children, Delmar (Sandra) Sewell of Ludlow, Darlene (Roger) Stevens of Merrill, Dennis Sewell and his special friend, Deanna, of New Limerick, Lorie (Mark) Wotton of Monticello, Darren (Julie) Sewell of Monticello/Alaska, and Tina Porter and Richard Higgins of Waltham; a son-in-law, Michael Hannigan; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; as well as two brothers, James Lindsay and William Lindsay both of Meridan, CT, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Delmar, Sr.; a son, Dale; a daughter, Debbie; her siblings, Georgianna, Charlie, Nellie, Lucy, Alton, Jr., and a son-in-law, Leon Botting Sr.
