PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Flora L. Cyr, 84, passed away in Presque Isle on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. She was born in Ashland on December 3, 1933, the daughter of Clarence and Clarice (Ellis) Murphy.
She is survived by her siblings, Clarence and Ann Murphy Jr. of Presque Isle, Elbert Murphy of Louisiana, Andrea and Pat Soucier of Virginia, Melvin and Jackie Murphy of South Carolina, and Mildred and David Gino of Plaster Rock, NB, and several brother and sister and laws. She will also be missed by a special niece, Vicky and Keith Michaud of Mapleton.
In addition to her parents, Flora was predeceased by her husband of over forty years, Lewis C. Cyr, her siblings, Alton Murphy, Stanley Murphy, Bernard Murphy, Inez Murphy and Delmar Murphy.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, August 27, 2018, at 11am, at the Ashland Municipal Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.duncan-graves.com
