MAPLETON, Maine – Joyce Marie Brown, 86, passed away on August 29, 2018, at the Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born on December 20, 1931, in Van Buren, the daughter of Almon and Blanche (Paradis) Moreau.
She was a great mother and homemaker. She loved to sell things, selling Avon, Fuller Brush, or yard sales items. She truly enjoyed seeing and meeting people. Joyce of was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Michael and Joanne Brown, and Stephen and Karen Brown, all of Presque Isle; as well as three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Brown, in 2007, a daughter, Paula, in 1992, a brother, John Moreau, and a sister, Rita Tompkins.
