The Caribou Middle School boys’ soccer team defeated Houlton and lost to Fort Kent twice in recent action.
Jude Shea scored off a Devin Wright assist in the first half to lead Caribou to the 2-1 victory in Houlton Sept. 4. Alex Belanger recorded the shutout in goal and had many good saves. Eliot Sleeper, Bobby Caron, Calvin Hersey and Alex Levesque were strong on defense and Brayden Brescia, Ty Hunter, Dawson St. Pierre and Edison Sleeper stood out offensively.
Shea scored on a penalty kick for Caribou’s only goal in a 3-1 home loss to Fort Kent Aug. 30. In the rematch in Fort Kent Sept. 6, Griffen McNeal and Alex Levesque tallied in the 7-2 loss. Jacob Walton and McNeal picked up assists.
