Community Library
Did you know Easton High School also serves as a community library? It is available to patrons who check in at the front office during school hours. Library services will also be available on an “as requested” basis. To arrange a mutually convenient time, please contact Steve Demaio at (207) 805-2702.
Children’s Yoga
Children’s yoga is a different way to learn about the body. They will stretch, strengthen, gain flexibility and balance through short, age-appropriate activities, as well as learn how to calm body, breath and mind.
Yoga has been shown to improve concentration, memory, attention, problem-solving and decision-making, skills needed for learning. Relaxation is just as important as exercise, and participants will learn these concepts and more, all by having fun.
Classes will be held on Mondays from Oct. 15 through Nov. 5. The cost is $20. We must have 10 participants to run the program. Classes will take place at the Rec. until 4:15 p.m. Children must have a note to ride the bus from school to the Rec.
Open to Kindergarten and up. The class will be instructed by Julie French.
