HERBERT L. CURRIER, LITTLETON – Herbert L. Currier, 87, of Littleton, died September 21, 2018, in Portland. He was born October 2, 1930 in Littleton, the son of Norman and Nellie (Wiggins) Currier.
Herbert was a potato farmer his whole life a career he enjoyed very much and spending time with his family. He was a member the Littleton Baptist Church.
He is survived by one brother, Harry Currier of Littleton who provided loving care and support for Herbert for many years. He is also survived by a very loving niece, Norma Tarr of Dyer Brook and her daughters, Michelle Tarr Douglas and baby E and Janelle and Todd Collier and their children, Ethan and Bentley, who thought the world of Herbert and he of them; many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and four brothers, Francis, Samuel, George, Elmer, and two sisters, Dora Brewer and Ella Currier.
Friends called 12- 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, with funeral services held at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Steve Straubel officiating.
