Hanson Lake’s fanciful colors

Trees around Hanson Lake in Presque Isle are vibrant with autumn color on Monday, Oct. 8. The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry’s latest Maine foliage report, issued Oct. 3, indicated northern Maine was at peak color, with all Maine regions reporting low leaf drop.
