Thanks to a $20,000 grant from the Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation, the Washburn Memorial Library was able to install a new wheelchair-accessible ramp, front entrance and cement sidewalk this summer. The library board of trustees also will plant a garden with help from industrial arts students from Washburn District Memorial High School. (Melissa Lizotte)
