Rose is a Halfway Home Pet Rescue success story. A frightened and aggressive feral cat, she was trapped last spring and fostered by an HHPR volunteer, who suspected she was really a former domestic cat that had suffered abuse and abandonment. Marcie Simonds of Presque Isle often visited with Rose at the foster home, and in time Rose went home with Simonds. Now, with time, love and patience, Rose has become the proverbial lap kitty.
