WESTBROOK, MAINE — Maine Democratic Party Chairman Phil Bartlett issued the following statement today (Monday, Oct. 29) after unenrolled gubernatorial candidate Alan Caron withdrew his candidacy and endorsed Janet Mills:
“After eight years of divisive politics, our state is ready for a change and Janet Mills is the only candidate who can deliver it. Throughout the campaign Alan Caron has demonstrated a commitment to moving Maine’s economy forward, and he has presented thoughtful policy proposals. We are proud to have him standing with Janet Mills.”
