HODGDON, Maine – Dennis Dean Lewallen, 72, of Hodgdon, Maine, passed away on October 29, 2018 at Madigan Nursing Home after battling lung cancer. Dennis was born to parents Orville and Delores Lewallen on June 4, 1946, in Volga, South Dakota.
He served our country as a United States Marine for a total of four years earning the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. He worked in the warehouse at Louisiana Pacific for many years before retiring to spend time with family and friends. In his later years Dennis was trail master of the Aroostook Riders ATV Club, where he and Bonnie could be found riding their side by side.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 19 years, Bonnie Lewallen; sons, Michael, James, and Dennis; daughters, Sheila and Vicky; and countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dennis was predeceased by his son, Peter in April of 2018. His memory will be carried on and blissfully remembered by his family and friends.
