HOULTON, Maine – Ruth M. Grant, 76, of Houlton, died Nov. 4, 2018, at her home. She was born Sept. 16, 1942, in Houlton, the daughter of Hudson and Dorothy (Smith) Cole.
Ruth enjoy playing bingo and slots, but especially being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Flewelling of Houlton, Robert (Christine) Grant of Houlton and Wesley (Monique) Grant of Houlton; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; one sister, Joan Spellman of Houlton; three brothers, Donald (Becky) Cole of Ashland, Hudson (Cathy) Cole of Linneus and Randy (Janet) Cole of Linneus; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Norma Jean Grant; sisters, Rebecca Cole, Millicent Shrout and Elizabeth Batchelder; and one brother, Frederick Cole Sr.
