ISLAND FALLS, Maine — The mens and womens Birch Point Bowling League continues to provide strong individual and team efforts.
The standings for the Men’s League, for bowling played through Nov. 5, are as follows, 1, Intimidators, 12-4; 2, Gutterballs, 12-4; 3, Rough Riders, 11-5; 4, Strike Force, 7-9; and 5, Skinners Sandbaggers, 6-10.
The High Single for the week went to Parker Skinner with a 121, while the High Series went to Tim Sheldon with a 313.
The team High Single and Series both went to Rough Riders with a 530 and 1,538 respectively.
In women’s bowling league action through Oct. 30, the standing were: 1, Patten Alleycats, 14-2; 2, County Girls, 10-6; 3, D.W.B., 8-8; 4, Gutter Gang, 8-8; and 5, Purple Power, 8-8.
The top 5 averages for the week were Cassidy Mitchell, 91.3; Lisa Boutilier, 90.8; Chris Lash, 90.0; Donna Crandall, 89.1; and Beth Edkins, 89.
The Weekly High Single went to Cassidy Mitchell (125) while the Weekly High Three went to Donna Crandall (288). The Year to Date High Single is now Cassidy Mitchell (125), while the Year to Date High Three belongs to Beth Edkins (298).
