University of Maine at Presque Isle sophomore Deandre Duncombe was recognized as the North Atlantic Conference Men’s Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 11.
Duncombe helped the Owls to a 2-0 start to the season at the Charlie Ryan Classic tournament played at Thomas College in Waterville.

The guard from Port St. Lucie, Florida, scored 45 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the victories over Norwich University and UM-Augusta.
He tallied 22 points, including a 5-of-7 effort in three-point field goals, and grabbed five rebounds in the 79-57 win over Norwich on Friday, Nov. 9.
The following afternoon, Duncombe poured in 23 points and hauled in 10 rebounds, while adding four assists, in an 87-77 triumph over the Moose of the University of Maine Augusta.
