LIGORIE E. SAUCIER, SMYRNA MILLS – Ligorie E. Saucier, 86, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018, at a Houlton hospital. He was born September 22, 1932, in Eagle Lake, the son of John and Modesta (Paradis) Saucier.
He served during the Korean War in the U.S. Army from 1952-1956. Lee was a life member of the American Legion Post #47 in Houlton, and life member of the V.F.W. in Presque Isle, as well as the Houlton Lodge of Elks.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Connie (Coughlin) Saucier; two sons, Bryan Saucier and his partner, Doris, of FL, and Terry Saucier and his wife, Angel, of OH; and two daughters, Barbara Saucier and her wife, Josie, of FL, and Cindy Simmons and her husband, Russ, of SC. He also leaves behind a stepson, Tim Slaton; a grandson, Joey Finnamore; a granddaughter, Sofia Saucier; a stepgrandson, TJ Slaton; a stepgranddaughter, Emily Slaton; a great-granddaughter, Megan Finnamore; and two sisters, Priscilla Langley of Bangor and Edna in South Berwick. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Giovannia (Paola) Saucier; a son, Allen Saucier; five brothers, John, Luis, Patrick, Russel, and Leo; and four sisters, Rose, Eva, Laurina, and Celina.
