Gifts benefit community

The Mars Hill Rotary Club met on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 6:30 a.m. at the Aroostook Health Center.

The special speaker was Sadie Shaw, guidance counselor at Central Aroostook High School.  She spoke about the Christmas gift drive done by the student council. Thanks to the generosity of clubs, individuals and more, they are able to provide gifts to a number of children in the community.

Names are provided by teachers.  Gifts are received by individuals or are bought by council members with money donated to the group.

They are very thankful for all the support from the community.
