November will be remembered for an unusually early onset of winter with both cold temperatures and that beautiful white stuff we call snow. With this said, let’s go inside to the Daughters of Isabella’s November meeting. The 50/50 winner was Sharon Perreault; she donated her money to the Circle. Thank you, Sharon. The
November birthday gift recipient was Elizabeth Long; ‘Happy Birthday’ was sung.
Chancellor Elizabeth Long led Opening Prayer, followed by singing of The Ode and recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance by all.Chancellor Long also reported on visiting Omerine Cyr, Norma Shaw, Annette Harmon and Sonia Labbe.
The monthly Spiritual Reflection focused on the Third Joyful Mystery.
Roll call of officers was taken. Recording Secretary Jeanine Morneault presented the September and October minutes. Elizabeth Long motioned to accept the September minutes as read with a second from Madeline Guerrette. Elizabeth Long motioned to accept the October minutes as read with a second from Deb Chabre.
Communications to the Circle included: Thank-you from Faith Formation Site Coordinator Jeanine Morneault for hospitality at our Sacraments Mass reception. Rena Lagasse shared greetings from Theresa Wunderlich. Regent Elaine Haines had requested to Bishop Deeley appointment of a new Circle Chaplain. She shared correspondence from the Bishop that he has appointed Fr. Agustin to this position.
Regent Elaine Haines encourages us to continue to recruit new members.
Four layettes were given out last month. Madeline Guerrette and Elizabeth Long gave monetary donations for layettes and Gail Hjort donated Pampers. It was presented that perhaps for our Christmas donations for Baby Jesus be given to Diane Adams to make sweater sets.
Vice Regent Dolores Martin sent a card to Eleanor Gagnon. She will send cards to Norma Shaw, Annette Harmon, Claire Randolph, Ozeline Fisher, Theresa Wunderlich and Bea Pirie.

Regent Elaine Haines reminded us to continue praying the Rosary and praying for our seminarians.
Regent Elaine thanked everyone for the help with the Sacraments Reception.
She encouraged us to pray a decade of the Rosary before each meeting.
Dolores Martin informed the Circle that the Discount Cards are doing well.
New business for the Circle includes: voting for 2019 Queen Isabella at our December meeting, discussion ensued on whether we should have a Mass for all Deceased Members , discussion of Christmas Meal for December and Jeanine Morneault motioned to go with Michelle Hanson with last year’s menu and cost. Gift exchange will be part of the evening for those who are interested. Bring in non-perishable food items for Parish Christmas baskets and monetary donations for yarn to make sweater sets for the layettes, fuel donation for the Church was agreed upon with a motion from Gail Hjort and seconded from Dolores Martin. Jeannine Morneault motioned to present the Priests Christmas gifts with a second by all present.
Dolores Martin expressed we all have gifts to use in our church. We need to encourage and support one another. We receive many plenary benefits as a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
