MASARDIS, Maine — Electrical utility crews will interrupt power in Ashland, Masardis and Oxbow Plt. from approximately 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, to replace a pole damaged by a vehicle accident.
According to a press release by Emera Maine, crews will replace a pole broken during a vehicle crash in Masardis on Tuesday morning. Service may be interrupted to about 300 customers in Ashland, Masardis and Oxbow Plantation for about two hours as crews work to make repairs safely.
Emera spokesperson Judy Long said motorists are urged to slow down or move over and change lanes, when possible, if approaching utility crews working on roadways.
