PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — All are invited to join the Daughters of Isabella, Mary Magdalene Circle 639 of St. Mary’s Church in Presque Isle, in marking Bells for Babies, an annual remembrance of the more than 59,000 babies who have died through surgical abortion.
The Daughters and the church youth group will host a rosary and ringing of the bells at 12 noon on Sunday, Jan. 20, at the church.
On Tuesday, Jan. 22, to mark the anniversary of legalized abortion, St. Mary’s will ring its bells at noon and encourages other churches to join in.
