The United Insurance Agency in Caribou recently presented a donation to the Jefferson Cary Foundation to support the foundation’s 2018 annual appeal. Funds benefit the Foundation’s Endowment Fund, of which the principal balance remains permanently intact with only the interest income used to support many different types of projects at Cary Medical Center, including purchasing new technology, promoting health education and prevention services, managing scholarships, and supporting the expansion of services at the hospital like the Women’s Imaging Center and Jefferson Cary Cancer Center.
