HOULTON, Maine — Katahdin Trust Company announces the promotion of Alison Gould to assistant vice president, commercial services officer in Houlton.
She will continue to help businesses grow and prosper in southern Aroostook County and provide personalized solutions for their banking needs.
“It is an honor to recognize Alison with this promotion,” said Bill Lucy, executive vice president, commercial services for Katahdin Trust.
“She has demonstrated her commitment to growing our relationships with small businesses. In addition, she has been a valuable part of supporting other staff members new to their role in commercial lending,” he said. “I congratulate her on this important accomplishment.”
Gould started her career with Katahdin Trust in 1993 as a commercial services assistant in Houlton, the position she held until 1997. After raising her family, she returned to the bank in 2007 as a teller and transferred to a commercial services assistant in 2008. She was promoted to commercial services specialist in 2014 and commercial services officer in 2016.
Gould has earned several diplomas and certificates from the Center for Financial Training, including her Commercial Lending Diploma, Bank Operations Diploma, Small Business Banking Certificate, and Supervisor Certificate. She is also a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking in Durham New Hampshire.
She resides in Hodgdon with her family.
