CARIBOU, Maine — To make it easier to apply for a U.S. passport, the Caribou post office will host a Passport Day with no appointment necessary on Saturday, March 9.
Those interested may stop by the post office at 41 Sweden St. between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on March 9. Postal clerks can even take applicants’ passport photos if they do not have one.
With routine passport processing times of six weeks, it’s never too early to start planning for that next vacation, U.S. Postal Service officials said.
