Credit union employees earn statewide nod

MADAWASKA, Maine — Susan G. Whitehead, president and CEO of NorState Federal Credit Union, along with Paul Michaud, senior account executive at Insurance Trust/CU Alliance, recently announced that two NorState employees received special recognition.

Loan officers Mindy Braley and Kim Hebert earned nods for excellence in sales of Auto-Exam, the credit union’s auto warranty product.

Both Braley and Hebert won a weekend away to Las Vegas for exceeding sales expectations, according to Michaud.

“The Insurance Trust could not be more proud of these loan officers,” he said.

Braley and Hebert learned about the product and how to offer it to members through “an intense year of training,” Michaud said.

“NorState was able to hit their respective goal … and also surpassed it by 17 percent, and NorState was the only credit union in Maine to surpass their sales goals,” said Whitehead. “That’s dedication and commitment, and proves we have put into practice all of the training and experiences our loan officers are equipped with.

“We have an amazing team of over 18 loan officers who care about members’ experience and financial well-being,” she added.
