MARS HILL, Maine — The following activities are planned this month at the Walter T.A. Hansen Library.
The library will offer a free computer class on Windows 10. This is a two-part class, offered on Thursdays, April 18 and 25, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Please RSVP.
The library is looking for volunteers to make May baskets to donate to the residents of the Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill. This is an old, but sweet tradition and a great opportunity for high school students who need community service hours. Stop in anytime on Tuesday, April 23, between 12:30 and 8 p.m.
Throw off those winter blues — the library will host a spring party on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be stories, games and snacks.
On Tuesday, April 30, at 6 p.m., the library will introduce our next Hometown Hero, Dave Cyr, Mars Hill town manager. He will share a little bit about himself and his job, and will read one of his favorite stories. The word is, he is a Johnny Tractor fan.
