PATTEN, Maine — The 6th annual Fiddlers and Fiddlehead Festival returns to the Lumberman’s Museum in on Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Located at 61 Shin Pond Road, fiddlers from around the state will perform on stage, while fiddlehead cooks compete in a cast-iron chef cook-off.
A number of artisans, craftsmen, demonstrations and food vendors will be on hand and tours of the museum will also be available. For the children a giant slingshot, scavenger hunt, and other games will be offered.
The event is held rain or shine and participants are encouraged to bring their own chair to kick back and enjoy the music. There is no cost to attend, but donations will be accepted. For more information visit: www.lumbermensmuseum.org.
