Outside the home of Anne and Jeff Hemphill on the Easton Road in Presque Isle, late spring and summer visitors will find themselves among hundreds of perennial bulbs such as Daphne shrubs, daffodils and tulips. Anne Hemphill looks forward to seeing the spring flowers bloom every year and often invites people to visit the garden, pictured here in May 2017.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Grace Interfaith Food Table, or GIFT, will host a Garden Tour Fundraiser from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 29.
The Garden Tour will feature seven different private gardens in both Presque Isle and Easton, according to Charlene Buzza, the director of volunteers at GIFT.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Myrtle Tree, Goin’ Postal and the Aroostook Center Mall office.
Visitors who stop at all the gardens will be eligible to enter for a door prize. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the GIFT Food Pantry.
